Paul
continues to value your prayers as he awaits news of
whether he will be placed on the transplant list. It
is not easy coping with permanent dialysis, so please
pray his scan in a few weeks will have a positive outcome.

There has been little change in Paul's situation over
the past month. He continues to struggle a bit with
getting the right balance in his dialysis. But the latest
news is that he must now wait around 6 months before
being considered for transplant. The Doctors are waiting
to see that the cancerous cells are gone from his body.
This is disappointing for him to have to wait longer
but as his consultant says it is important to be sure
that a transplant gets the best possible chance of success.
Pray
for him and Gillian as they endure this time of waiting
with all the challenges and inconvenience of dialysis.
They
are so grateful for all the prayer support of people
who have never met them.
God
bless you

I
am thankful to be able to share "good" news
about Paul's condition. Paul saw his consultant today
and was told that there was no reason why he should
not be able to have a kidney transplant. This is a tremendous
answer to prayer and a big encouragement to Paul and
Gillian. The waiting for results has been traumatic.
Paul has been going through very tough times as his
body struggles to adapt to having no kidneys and relies
on dialysis three time each week. Please pray for him:
Pray
that he will begin to have a better quality of life,
that the medications and dialysis will get regulated
soon and that he will feel better and stronger. Paul
suffers other major side effects from his illness, including
very limited sight.
Pray
that the search for a suitable donor organ will not
take too long. Pray for family members who are considering
whether they might be willing to donate a kidney should
they be suitable donors.
Pray
for Paul and Gillian to be strengthened physically and
in their faith as they walk through this valley of fear.
Pray to for my friends, Billy and Jean - (Gillian's
Mum and Dad) and the family too as they do all they
can to support Paul and Gillian.
Pray
that God will be glorified through Paul's illness.
Thank
you for upholding these dear friends in prayer.

Paul
and Gillian are very grateful for your prayers. These
days following surgery and adapting to dialysis are
difficult physically and emotionally and added to that
is the wait to know if Paul can go on the transplant
list. That decision may come in 10 days. Please continue
to remember them in prayer.

Paul
had surgery today to remove his remaining portion of
kidney. The surgeon was pleased that he was able to
remove the organ without complications. Now Paul is
on Dialysis in ICU and awaiting reports that could determine
how quickly he may be able to go on the transplant list.
He is very grateful for your prayers.

Paul
faces major surgery during the week beginning March
27th 2011. For 20 years Paul has lived with major illness
causing serious kidney problems. Surgeries have left
him with only one third of a kidney. Now he has been
told that this final portion must be removed and he
must face life on dialysis or transplant.
Paul
is a believer in the Lord Jesus and has a strong faith
and has shown remarkable courage to continue living
and working despite major difficulties. But now he is
facing his biggest challenge yet. He and his wife Gillian
greatly value your prayer support.
If
you want to get in touch with Paul and Gillian, it would
be appreciated if you would contact them initially through

Thank
you.
