Cameron's Carepage

Medical:
While healthy hearts have four chambers, Cameron was born with Hypoplasic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) He has had three heart surgeries which include the Norwood Procedure, the Glenn and the Fontan. He was also born with 1 kidney which was damaged after the Glenn. He received a year of steroid treatment for that and is now doing great as far as the kidney function.

I am not his mother I am his grandmother who has legal custody of him and makes all medical decision on his behalf.

Yesterday Cameron had his first home pacemaker check and the dr called and said everything looked good and wants to see Cameron for an all day appointment on July 7th..for a full cardiac checkup. That means no dr. visits until July...yay!!! I'm going to post some of the pics from
Easter...enjoy.
